Yang Zhang Receives LAD Dissertation Prize

Yang Zhang has received the 2025 Laboratory Astrophysics Division (LAD) Dissertation Prize from the American Astronomical Society (AAS) for his thesis Understanding the Plasma Universe through Laboratory Experiments and Related Models. Dr. Zhang earned his PhD at Caltech, working with Paul M. Bellan, Professor of Applied Physics.
